There are two ways to get data into RTI from a Kafka topic:
1. Using the Eventstream GetEvents:
2. Using the open source connectors:
Both will benefit from the workspace level network isolation coming out soon (for eventstream and eventhouse)
There are a couple of ways to achieve this today by sending the output from Activator to the AMQP or Kafka endpoint of a Eventstream. But we are considering ways to make this more seamless.
Continous ingestion from Azure storage was just announced.
It is already supported to create an accelerated shortcut to a OneLake table that seamlessly ingests data and provides Kusto speed queries over it.
Continous ingesation of files from OneLake is planned. If there is a need to continously ingest from OneLaeke Delta tables that is not covered by accelerated shorcuts please file a separate item.
Thanks for the feedback. We are working on enabling this capability, starting with update policies support.
Good feedback. It would be great if you or others in the community can share some specific "real-world" examples where this would come in handy -- it would make it easier for us to prioritize this amongst the different enhancements we are considering.
