Currently, when using the direct link to Microsoft Fabric on https://make.powerapps.com, it links in the tables on the selected environment over to Microsoft Fabric. When I create a notebook, I can add multiple lakehouses in the left pane. Depending on where I want to execute my query/cell I can change the Lakehouse connection. This is fine. But,when I want to read data from one Lakehouse and write it into another one (a scenario mostly seen in medallion architectures), I can't do that natively as the notebook can only be connected to one Lakehouse. By using shortcuts, I can work around this problem but it would be nice if a different Lakehouse can be used as a target. This saves me from creating any amount of shortcuts, maintaining them and gives me the option to quickly load, transform and write data from bronze to silver and silver to gold. ... View more

Hi all, We need deploy a collection of notebooks (normally > 100, possibly > 1000) to the Fabric workspace, whenever there are changes to them, as the notebook code will be developed/created outside Fabric. Therefore it would be helpful to have pipline/GIT support in place that helps deploying these files (and maybe workspace items in general). When you create a Warehouse or Lakehouse in fabric, it comes with a Default Semantic Model. I know these don't take up space, but WHY? I didn't ask for one. They take up space in the user interface and I cannot hide or delete it. It's like a skin growth. The UI gets really bloated with all these Default Semantic Models showing up when you are building a Medallion Architecture with Bronze, Silver, and Gold storage layers.
