Enable R Script in Power BI Report Server - In the manufacturing environment quality tools are essential, specific S.P.C. (Statistical Process Control). So, for example Quality Control Charts library help us with statistical data analysis in Power BI Desktop, but in Report Services R Script is not enabled. This is an incredible opportunity to delivery assertive information to data customers make their quick decisions based on Power BI RS. In the other post R Visual is not planned, but think fondly in this possibility!

- cornelius_muellNew MemberThat would be really helpful! I need R scripts running within Power BI Server for computing Monte carlo simulations and showing the results on an interactive Dashboard. Please include this functionality in future Versions (as it is already possible in the Desktop Version)!
- avalon_dsNew MemberNeed this feature!
- marios1New MemberSince R script is part of the data manipulation tools, it should be part of the items that can be executed/updated using scheduled refresh. R scripts can help to significantly enhance the data sets, with the additional libraries they offer. Taking for example geo-spatial calculations, you need to execute the R script on the data to classify them into different geo-spatial groups/categories. Having the ability to do that, but not being able to schedule a refresh of the data (with the script as part of the refresh), kinda makes the feature useless... Please add!
- atavares1New MemberI´m too. The same way, i can´t update the drashboard´s data on Power BI Reporting Service. I hope in the next power bi version to resolve my problem.
- patoduck1New MemberR and Python Visuals and scripts in Power BI report server please!
- sanda_jan00New MemberFor our company thit feature is a dealbreaker!
- anthony_alessiNew MemberParameterized query to combine 6k+ Excel files cannot be exported from power bi due to size. R script doing the same runs in less time, needs no helper file to pass through and generates text backup files automatically. R data source automatic refresh would end my power bi 'least efficient loop' nightmares.
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberPlease add this feature.
- colin_farquharsNew MemberI need the ability to automatically export a .csv file for a PowerBI dataset when a scheduled refresh is done in PowerBI Report Server. I understand R Script could provide this function.
- jrussiNew MemberR and Python Visuals and scripts in Power BI report server make all difference.
