Python Script in Power BI

Upvote! Python (and Pandas) is THE Data Analysis framework, and the competitive advantage of PowerBI would be huge if Python was integrated. I don´t understand why R is supported and Python is not!

Excited to hear this idea has finally moved to Under Review status. Given Microsoft’s continued investment in the Python community as stated by John Lam (Microsoft Python Engineering Group) in the recent post found at https://visualstudiomagazine.com/articles/2018/02/22/vs-code-anaconda.aspx, the decision to move forward in adding Python scripting as a feature in Power BI would seem to be a simple one to make.

Really great news the status change! Python is the swiss army knife of data analytics and has connectors, frameworks and interfaces for virtually every data plataform (rdbms, nosql dbs, spark, hadoop etc).
