Connect to a Hadoop cluster with HIVE tables which are already in star schema format. Create dashboard and report and refresh in real time!

The data model being used (e.g. star schema) is totally irrelevant but yes, please do give us the ability to connect to hive tables on any hadoop distro, not just HDInsight.

You can connect to Hive tables using the ODBC connector, however having an option to direct create a connection to Hive would be very useful.
