Expand Relative date filtering options with 'not in' function

- Josh_HalversonNew MemberI have a similar issue, good idea!
- Christopher_Th2New MemberAnd I have situations where the current month is not fully coded so presenting current month's data is misleading. Would love a relative date filter to show "not in the this month" or similar.

I came here to vote on this. Again today I was looking to do a filter for records that were older than 90 days old and was reminded again I needed to do a calculated field to accomplish this.
Is not in the last 90 days would have been a great option and would save the need for dev time for a pretty basic user request.

It would be very useful to have a relative date filter that looks at NOT in X {Insert period}
Side note @Christopher - I use a relative date filter looking at last X calendar months and ensure the filter interacts with the date slicer above it as well as all the data.
End result is that it ignores the current month, looking only to the end of the previous month.
ie, Rolling 18: 1/12/2021 to 31/05/2023 as of the 22/06/2023
Unfortunate you can tag people here..

I'm new to Power BI and I ran into this hassle the very first report I tried creating; this would seem to be a very common problem. I'm making a simple report to show service accounts that haven't had their password changed in the last year, but I don't want to include accounts created in the last 6 months. It's not intuitive that it would be so easy to include only records in a relative range but not do the opposite.
I'm sure a bunch of beginners google around to find this feature request the same as I did.

Simply adding a filter option for "is NOT in the last" would allow us to use two filters to target almost any date window easily. Want to see employees hired in the last 12 months but not those within their 3 month probationary period? Simply apply two relative date filters, 12 months inclusive and 3 months exclusive, it would be so easy. This would make it a breeze to apply these kinds of filters to reports using bookmarks rather than having to hack together an additional column or using DAX, which makes it more complicated to maintain.

This is a very necessary function. Upvoting.
