While we chart an important data point, such as volume, we usually have a second or third data point that also needs to be expressed, such as % Change. Excel allows an alternative data label so a compound data label can be created. It would be great if we could specify multiple measures to build one data label.

- JimNAdvocate II would like this feature as well. My current workaround is to use a clustered bar chart, with one value as count, and a second as quick calc percent of grand total. This gives both count and percentage, but with two bars for the same data. Not quite eloquent, but suffice for now. The compound label would be the ideal solution, which is also how I use it in excel charts.
- wbowlingNew MemberI would like this feature as well, In SSRS you can create expressions for your data labels, that would be ideal.
- will_laohooNew MemberYes, I agree that more customization around data labels would be very helpful. In my example, I'm showing Profit and Gross Sales in a stacked column chart. I want the total for the entire column to equal Gross Sales, so I create a calculated field that subtracts Profit from Gross Sales to get the column correct. However, I would like the data label to show Gross Sales, not that difference. For instance: Gross Sales = 100 Profit = 50 Gross Sales - Profit (for stacked column) = 50 I want the data label for [Gross Sales - Profit] to be 100, not 50 as it currently would show. I'm able to do this in Excel, but not in Power BI.
