Currently, Power BI automatically right-aligns all text measures in Matrix visuals, and the alignment settings in the Format pane (under “Values”) do not apply to text-based measures. This creates a poor user experience when displaying multi-line text fields like commentary, notes, or narrative summaries—especially when they are concatenated using DAX.
Request:
Please enable full text alignment controls (left, center, right) for text measures used in Matrix visuals, just like those available in Table visuals. This feature would allow for cleaner presentation and better readability, particularly in use cases like financial commentary, audit logs, or explanations grouped by category.
Example use cases:
- Aggregated department-level commentary under a regional or market-level roll-up
- Displaying multi-line narratives generated via CONCATENATEX measures
- Business explanations for performance trends
