Direct Query for DocumentDB

Please add support for Direct Query to DocumentDB. We host PowerBI in embedded mode and have a large set of data to visualize that cannot be imported due to the size of the data set and the update requirements (freshness) from the customer. Thank you.

Direct Query would be a life saver. Refreshing multi million data-sets is painfully slow right now.

Also very interested in this feature for the same reasons as Aaron (Large amounts of live data, using embedded). Just wondering if it's possible to get a little more info as to when this feature will be coming? Keep up the good work 😄

Can we get a statement of some kind on this front? I've seen it mentioned on stack overflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/39122560/can-power-bi-online-work-with-azure-documentdb and h0n says Direct Query is being "worked towards" for DocumentDB. Can we get an idea of where that stands?
