Moreover, the XIRR () DAX function often returns, "The XIRR function couldn't find a solution" when it works perfectly fine in Excel with identical data. This is a well known bug in Power BI. Microsoft's response is that Power BI's implementation is different than Excels. This is not a satisfactory answer.
