Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query

Please allow the connection to Dataflows' entities from Excel's Power Query. There are many cases when customers use Excel and not Power BI. But Dataflows can make the refresh process much faster for them. Thanks

This was marked as completed in December, but so far I don't see any sign of this. I'm running the Beta version of Office Pro Plus and there is no sign of this feature anywhere. Can someone from Microsoft please explain why this is marked as complete?

I'd love to know in what way was this feature delivered? I've simply copied the Powerquery script from a dataflow connecting to another dataflow, which works fine in the PowerBi Webservice thus should also work in the built-in PowerQuery in Excel...unfortunately i had no luck. It simply can't recognize the Dataflow as a source. Looking forward to further instructions....anyone? Admin?

https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=7759e028-e5a0-eb11-89ee-501ac50a7898 I doubled the idea, because this one says it is resolved, but it clearly is not. So please vote!

We need this feature, otherwise DataFlows will never reach wider application.

Just want to say: thank you for responding and updating the status on this item from Closed to Planned, and providing the additional context that it is planned for release this year. This should make a lot of people happy. I can't wait to shift my Excel imports from Datasets to Dataflows...getting rid of an additional layer that never needed to be there. Cheers!
