REST API seems somewhat limited at the moment. Sometimes it's necessary to programmatically monitor our Power BI datasets, so being able to get the data from a dataset would give us limitless flexibility in this area.

- But that enumerates the name/id of the dataset, and not the data itself, right?

- Yes, Yes, Yes! This will also allow to combine dataset's data with other sources in other pbix models. Import instead of limited live connection Please!!!
