I've recently gotten a virtual machine and installed a personal gateway to auto-refresh my reports. However, most people in my company use the Power BI App I created to access the reports. There should definitely be a way to auto-update the app when the reports refresh. It could have it's own refresh schedule.

I agree, I update all the reports and when executives view the "App" they ask why isnt the data updated.

I agree.
In fact it seems to me to defeat the purpose of an online version by not have the app auto update after editing the associated pbix file.

Yes, it will be great to have a related app updated as soon as a scheduled refresh of the report/dashboard is completed. Should be an option in the Settings/Scheduled Refresh.
- nishalitNew MemberToday, when automatically updating a report via gateway, the application containing the report is not refreshed. It would be greatly apprieciated if an automatic update of the application could be done.
- nishalitNew MemberLike scheduling a data refresh, it would be nice to be able to schedule the use of the "Update App" button. Rather than having to make a change in the report and then also remember to go click that button, the app could be scheduled to update by the user.

If a report can already be updated automatically, I don't see why there is no function to update our apps

Surprised that the option to auto update the power apps is still not working. It's essential to have this feature in order to keep all apps updated. Please take this feature in serious consideration.

I agree, it should be available as option. It will be great to add checkbox in the Publish window of Power BI desktop, to update related App. In some cases when it is really minor change . like text spelling mistake re-publish of report should not require any additional steps.
