If we have the same thing in mind, I want animation over time like Hans Rosling shows on most of his TED talks for all chart types.

We use PowerBI to create dashboards that visual the deployment in detailed usage telemetry for our medical applications. We would like to be able visualise how deployment and usage changes over different timespans. Take a look at Hans Rosling on Ted: https://www.ted.com/talks/hans_rosling_reveals_new_insights_on_poverty How about adding a Play, and Step button to the Date slicer. Pressing Play would automatically increment the current date on the between range. The Step functionally would manually increment the current date when it was pressed. Increment for Play and Step can set in the properties pane.

Tableau does this partially. This is the future.
