Power BI’s matrix visual currently supports only one image per cell when using the Image URL data category. This limitation creates challenges for users who need to display multiple related images for a single record, such as product variants, marketing assets, or documentation previews.
Allowing multiple image URLs in a single cell would:
- Enhance data visualization by providing richer context without requiring additional columns or visuals.
- Improve usability for industries like retail, manufacturing, and design, where multiple images per item are common.
- Reduce reliance on custom visuals or complex workarounds, making reports more efficient and easier to maintain.
This feature would significantly increase flexibility and deliver a better user experience for scenarios where visual representation is key.
