Allow Copying Visuals Without Captions in SharePoint-Embedded Power BI Reports
Description:
Currently, when viewing a Power BI report embedded in SharePoint Online using the Power BI web part, the "Copy visual as image" feature only allows copying the visual with a caption. There is no option to exclude the caption, which limits flexibility for users who want to reuse visuals in presentations, documentation, or other internal communications.
Proposed Enhancement:
Add an option to copy visuals without captions directly from the SharePoint-embedded report view, similar to the functionality available in the Power BI Service.
Benefits:
- Improves consistency across Power BI platforms.
- Enhances usability for business users who rely on SharePoint for report access.
- Reduces the need for manual editing or third-party tools to remove captions.
This enhancement would streamline workflows and improve the user experience for organizations that embed Power BI reports in SharePoint as part of their internal reporting infrastructure.
