Currently, when exporting a Power BI report to PDF, only the content visible on the screen is included in the exported document.
This creates challenges when reports contain:
- Large tables with many columns
- Matrix visuals with horizontal scrolling
- Visuals that require scrolling to access all information
It would be extremely valuable to provide an export option that captures the entire dataset and visual content, including columns, rows, and elements that are not immediately visible on screen.
Possible enhancements could include:
- "Export full table to PDF"
- "Export all visual content"
- Automatic page scaling or pagination to include all columns
- Support for complete matrix and table exports without requiring manual screenshots or Excel exports
Business Value
This would significantly improve report sharing, auditing, compliance documentation, and executive reporting by ensuring that exported PDFs contain the full information available in Power BI rather than only the visible portion of a visual.
