power bi embedded + SSAS authentication

We're using Power BI Embedded. We're planning to migrate to the new "embedded capacity" eventually, but for now, still using the "old" Power BI Embedded with workspace collections.

• I was using Power BI embedded with Direct Query to tables in Azure SQL DB, but they are very slow because of large dataset (~10 million rows) and many complex queries.

• Tried Live Connection to an SQL SSAS Tabular model, but the report cannot display after all the publish steps, error message as "Couldn't load the model schema"

Does anyone know how to fix that?

I have a similar problem. After we publish the report to Power BI and tried to use Power BI embedded it doesn't show up. However, it shows up in Power BI service after I mapped using effective user names. I still have no clue why we are not seeing the report in Power BI embedded. Any help would be appreciated.

That should be mostly related to the authentication.
