measure for slicer and zoom slider

Hi.  first I am very new to Power BI.  be patience with me.  TIA

A share dataset is published workspace.  My report is developed in desktop and "Get Data" from worksapce.

Recently, I have 2 requirement. 

1) Zoom slider on the Year Month Day Hour Min in X-axis .  Unfortunately, the Hour and Min are in text format and I found out text cannot be Zoom slider.  What can I do ?  I try to create a measure ( VALUES(TIME.[Hour])) but measure cannot be used in Zoom slider.  Since this is a share dataset, I cannot or don't know how to create a custom column.  What option do I have?

2) similer situation as 1).  I have a measure called "speed".  I want to use slicer so the the line chart only show a range of speed only.  Again measure cannot be used in slicer.  Again, I cannot or don't know how to create a custom column since the dataset is shared in workspace

Hi @fushan ,

The below is the answeres for your problems:

1) Zoom slider is only available for the "Continuous" field which data type is numeric or date, if the data type of X/Y axis will be not available.

2) The measure can't be applied on the slicer, please review the following links and check if the solution can be as an workaround.
