dataViewMapping refresh glitches

Hello!

Is it me or the only way of really trust your dataView object after modifying the cappabilities.json file is refreshing the page?

I'm getting all sorts of strange stuff...! Is it only me?

Thanks!

If you edit capabilities.json we strongly recommend to remove visual from report and add again to apply the latest capabilities.

Power BI sometimes ignores new capabilities.

The dataView will be updated for each data or format panel change.

What issues have you faced?

I noticed that when editing the dataViewMapping object in the capabilities.json file, I would refresh the Power BI Visual after changing the file and I would get an specific DataViewMapping object, and then without modifying the existing code, If I refresh the browser I will get the actual current version of capabilities.json.

Sometimes this will mean that the Visual won't render because the capabilities.json file is not coherent but some other times it will just render a different dataView object.

It seems there's some cache or similar that won't clear until you refresh the browser but maybe it has to do with Chrome rather than PBI.
