changing source code to get analytics

Hi all,

I'm pretty novice at coding, but Power BI support told me in order to get the analytics I want (we use Power BI to monitor our company's Yammer usage) I would need to change the source code. Specifically, we want to extract data to see top messages by # of likes. Could someone please instruct me on how to change the source code so that I can get that data? Would it be changing Power BI's source code or Yammer's, or both? Thanks for the advice!
