Web Service URL Not Working(PowerBI Desktop-Sql ServerReportingServices)


Hello Friends,

I am new to powerbi,can any one please help me on below error,
        I can publish my powerbi desktop report on Reporting Services of web portal url(http://sivakumar/Reports)

but i am unable to publish same report on Reporting Services of Web Service URL(http://sivakumar/ReportServer).

I am getting below error

I configured in right way reporting service and I am using powerbi desktop(SqlServer Reporting Services),Version 2.42.4611.581 64-bit (January 2017) and Sql Server Preview Reporting Services Enterprise Evaluation Edition 14.0.1.353

Hey @sivakumar,

 

If you look at the example in your first screenshot, it says the format should be: https://reportserver/reports

 

Have you tried this:

https://sivakumar/ReportServer/Reports

also,but still no result and i am posting same issue  on other reporting service forums.I will get back you once i got solved.hope some one can get help.

I got a reply from other source like

Power BI reports can only be viewed or downloaded from the portal. If you need to embed Power BI reports use the &rs:embed=true parameter
