Using R to change underlying data possible?

It's possible to use the query editor in power bi to transform without changing the source. But what if I want to change the source in the same way (or partly) I changed it inside the query editor? Is it possible to use an R script to do this?

PS One more question! I am trying to uderstand Power BI Pro/Premium. Does it still work this way that a person creates a report with Power BI Dashboard and then shares it using the cloud or now on premise? So all the work is still done in Power BI Desktop? If so how can people then work on the same Report in the cloud (or on premise) ?

Thanks a lot for the help. Highly appreciated!
