Updating what if parameter using javascript

Hi everyone.

 

I have a what if parametre in my report, so i can enter a number and some variables change. I'm trying to update the number i can enter trough javascript because i need to link the report with a main dash in html, but i don't know yet how to call the parameter o where to start. I appreciate some guidance!

Hi @Anonymous,

What if parameters are based on Dax expression and host on power bi data model(AS tabular), I don't think you can use javascript to interact and update these expressions.

If you mean to change the filter selection that used the what-if parameter as source, you can take a look following link:
