Update Snowflake's datasource advanced options

We use Snowflake as a data source for our reports and there is a need to programmatically update a role (not the user) that PBI uses to connect to the database.

It seems that PBI uses some kind of extension to access the Snowflake database. Though you can edit that role in the Query editor of PBI Desktop, where the source is defined, I wasn't able to see or edit the same information view API calls.  Accessing datasource through the gateway endpoints I can see the server and warehouse values, but there is nothing in regard to advanced options there.

Moreover, I need to do it in .NET code...

Hi @Anonymous ,

Hi  ,

Maybe you can try edit in power query editor advanced editor.

Or you can try this snowflake-connector-net in .NET code.

Yes, you can edit the source in a query editor, as I stated in my post.

Could you please explain how snowflake-connector-net might be used as a data source for the pbix report?
