According to your description, it seems like a common date range analysis requirement. For this scenario, I'd like to suggest you refer to the below blog 'start date', 'end date' part if helps.
In addition, you can also try to create a bridge table to expand the detail date records and mapping with the raw table. After these, you can simply do analysis or calculate with raw table records.
