SQL certification

Hi, 

I'm a HR data analyst. I don't have any IT background, however, I have learnt VBA programming, R  and PB in my work and now I'm considering moving outside of HR function and follow the career path of a data intelligence consultant or data scientist. 

I had 7-8 job interviews during the past two weeks, but half of the employers asked me about SQL which unfortunately is all Greek for me . I think I have probably learned many SQL concepts via R and data modeling in PB, however, I need a certificate to prove that I can work with SQL language. Can someone recommend a SQL certification or examination so that I can pass the job interview?

If possible, I don't want to spend too much time preparing for a  SQL exam. I would rather learn SQL by practicing at work later.
