Rest API Endpoint for Streaming Datasets

Hi,

 

when creating a Streaming Dataset (Rest API) via the PowerBI Web GUI, the endpoint generated is always something like:

 

https://api.powerbi.com/beta/...?key=....

 

Is there any documentation (f.e. methods of authentication etc.) of the beta-Endpoint and/or any explanation why the beta-Version of the REST-API ist used, whereas there is a v1.0 Version out there?
