Will Microsoft ever release a modern Html5/javascript SSRS ReportViewer that works with aspnetcore on the backend to replace the ASP.NET Webforms reportviewer? Been waiting for years for this. We're heavily invested in SSRS Reports, but can't migrate to Anguar, Vue or Blazor webassembly until we have a modern reportviewer. We're at the point where we're seriously evaluating other 'modern' reporting solutions from Telerik or Syncfusion. Just don't want to deal with the cost of re-writing our reports.
Would love to get an official response from Microsoft. Is SSRS ReportViewer control DEAD?
