Removing axis values in tooltips.

Hi Team,

I'm trying to achive a condition where I have a delivery group column and I've split the column based on characters. I placed the split values column in X axis and the tooltip is showing the same split value name.

But, I'm trying here is Keeping the split values column in X axis but while placed the cursor on visualization i need to hide the X axis value and get only the tooltip value i gave in the tooltip category. 

Example:

delivery group: "AAKBHC-chrome" , "AAKBHC-pilot".

Split column: "AAKBHC", "chrome".

I'm getting split value in tooltip as it's in X axis. I want delivery group name on tooltip though split column is in X axis.

Appreciate your response for my query, but your idea would help for creating report tooltip pages, which is completely different idea of my expectation. I'm in need for help to find if there's any possibility to "remove specific axis names from the tooltip when hovered on related visual." Do help me in acheiving this hurdle.

HI @Anonymous,

In fact, current you can't further customize with the axis name in tooltip.

In my opinion, I’d like to suggest you create a custom report tooltip page to use on your visual to replace raw tooltip.(use Dax expression to  customize the axis when you design the tooltip page that will be displayed on your visuals)

BTW, you can also try to submit an idea for add options to custom the tooltip.
