Hi I'm stumped on this trying to create this post again. Do the slicers have to be synced?
I can't get the slicers to agree with one another.

Xiaoxin - When I sync the two filters they either both become either Relative or either Slider. I'd like for them to be different, but sync when the values are changed.

Have you configured the relative date slicer to sync mode? If that is the case, I'd like to suggest you take a look at the following document about sync slicer:
