I have a table that includes the below columns:
Sequence_Number | Serial_Number |
1 | N423 |
2 | P234 |
3 | H234 |
4 | BSDF34 |
5 | 1234JN |
6 | NJ234 |
7 | 4575O |
8 | 09SDI |
9 | NJKDVDS7 |
10 | WOE1234 |
The user only knows the min and max Serial Numbers. I want to create two slicers (min serial number & max serial number) so the user can filter the data based on the min and max serial numbers. E.g. the user knows the min serial number to be H234 and the max to be 09SDI. When they enter these in to the slicers, the data is filtered between sequence number 3 and 8.
In SQL this would be:
SELECT * FROM table
WHERE Sequence_Number >= (SELECT Sequence_Number FROM table WHERE Serial_Number = H234)
AND Sequence_Number >= (SELECT Sequence_Number FROM table WHERE Serial_Number = 09SDI)
Do I need to create a measure or what is the best way to solve this?
Thanks in advance
