Hey Guys,
Just started with Power BI REST Apis and working on a small app for non-power-bi users. I want to use RSL for specific roles i added into the reports. is there a way to tell the embedded token i generate, that given role has to be displayed? for now i use filters, but that seems to be a) insecurity and b) overly complicated.
i get my AD Token, get my reports/... and generate a new embedded token. where would i apply a "role parameter" ?
I saw this: https://docs.microsoft.com/de-de/azure/power-bi-embedded/power-bi-embedded-rls - but the powerbi client nuget package does not use PowerBIToken. this videos talks about the RSL process but not how they made it happen. a static version of RSL would fit my current needs.
Maybe you guys got something.
Thank you!

That link talks about the RLS for the being deprecated Power BI Embedded. If your the talking about the new Embedding with non-Power BI users, the new RLS feature is not available. And as per this thread, the new RLS would come at ealiest in August.
thank you very much Eric 🙂
