Power Bi Interactions with native apps

Hi,

 

I'm a newbie to Power Bi and I have questions regarding how we can interact with the reports.

Say suppose I have integrated some reports in my Windows Desktop app using the steps mentioned at

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/embed-sample-for-your-organization

 

Now I would like to retrieve information from the report. Eg.,

 

  • Setting parameters on the report
  • Pulled back information from the report
  • If "selections" are made in a report, is that selection info accessible in the desktop application

Can someone please guide me on this or help me with some links that I can look up and get an idea from?
