Hi, I am getting error "Authentication failed because the remote party has closed the transport stream." while connecting to Power BI REST API via a SSIS Script task. It was working fine till last Friday and sudently it started throwing error. below is the api string i am calling -
https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/groups?$filter=contains(name,'ECHO')
anyone aware about any changes in the API side recently? I find some links asking to change target framework on script task side and I changed it from 4.5 to 4.6 but still getting this error. any help is appriciated.
Thanks in Advance.

Yes. it was TLS 1.2 enforcement issue, I used below in my code and it fixed it.
System.Net.ServicePointManager .SecurityProtocol |= SecurityProtocolType.Tls11 | SecurityProtocolType.Tls12;
HI @Anchal-D , This seems to be a very old post but I have the same problem that I recently encounter. With your solution, how do I put this colde in Power Query.
I encounter this issue in my PowerBI Dataflow.
Thank you in advance!
show a cleaned up version of your Power Query code. Which API endpoint are you calling?
It is not working in Win7.
The workaround is to use Win10
same here
maybe related to the TLS 1.2 enforcement?
checked "internet option" in my computer. TLS 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 are checked.
