Hello,
What are the currently supported data sources for use with Power BI Embedded? Is it still limited to Azure SQL and Azure SQL DWH?
Thanks.

@gdillen Unless there has been some recent announcement I've missed, those are the only 2 supported sources currently.
Is there any updates on connecting to different data sources?

According to this piece of documentation Azure SQL database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse are the only data sources supported for Power BI Embedded (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/power-bi-embedded/power-bi-embedded-connect-datasource) but I saw on another page many different sources were supported by Direct Query (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-use-directquery/). From my understanding, DirectQuery is supported by Power BI Embedded so the sources supported by Direct Query (ex. SQL Server, Oracle Database, etc) should in theory be supported by Power BI Embedded. What are your thoughts on this?
Specifically can we connect live to a cube?
@mahimabedi Not yet.
Any new data sources added?
