Hi,
I want to add to my application dashboards and reports using Power BI Embedded. Fot hat I prefer to use my backend (via REST API) as the data source due to the implemetaion of tenant and security in the backend, and if I will go directly to DB I'm passing all the logic.
Is it possible?
Thanks,
Adam
Yes, it is possible.
The general approach is:
Get Data from Web -> then parse JSON, after that shape the data to the proper data model.
There is a blog talking about this, see:
How to call REST APIs and parse JSON with Power BI

Michael
