Power BI Admin Usage Metrics Customized report

We are building our own reporting on Power BI usage within a company combining both the Office 365 API Audit logs as the Power BI API. 

 

As there already exists a usage metrics report in the Power BI Admin portal so we want to incorporate certain visuals and data in our own reporting. Apparently, it's not possible to export this report. 

 

We tried to get the data out through the API but there seem to be some discrepancies. In the usage metrics view, there is a difference between user and groups but it's not clear on how this classification is made. Also we can't get that information out of the API if we request a list of all the dashboards for example.

 

Anybody any info or luck doing the same?

    Anonymous - We are planning to set up the automated process for getting the Power BI audit logs using API, Can you guide me on the activity that you have been doing on the same and how to set up the automated process using API.
