Need to Export Pivoted Data

Hello.   We have a need to export pivoted data from Power BI, into Excel, with the ability to drill down.  I realize that there is a feature that has been requested, but not yet implemented, to do ...

I think you can use "Analyze in Excel" option. it will help you to achive your requirement.

Analyze in Excel would be a good option for certain users, but not for all.  In addition, when you refresh, it will overwrite the previous data, and there is a strong possibility that someone will do that before saving an offline copy of the previous report.  this would be bad, because we need to keep copies of monthly reports.

 

According to this link, the Matrix export will be availiable for public preview in October.  This looks exactly like what we need.  Any thoughts on this?
