Need Details about Event based scheduling in PBI

Hi All,

We have a requirement where reports on PBI Report server needs to run based on Oracle Events. meaning once the job in Oracle is completed then report on PBI Report server needs to run . 

If job failed on particular day then event will not run and report on server should not run.

Is anyone having any inputs on how to achieve this requirment ?

Hi @Anonymous 

I suggest you to set Data Refresh in Trigger Mode in Power BI Report Server. It is to trigger the dataset of your PBI reports to refresh with events. For example, when the data source referenced by the report has changed (added, changed, or deleted), then the trigger condition is activated to allow the PBI report to refresh the data immediately and keep the PBI report data up to date.
