My Custom connectors folder is under
C:\Users\USER\Documents\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors
and I'd prefer it at another location. Is there any way to change that location or is that path actually hardcoded? (in this forum post it seems so)
Could I just remove the folder and set it up again manually if I ever end up needing custom connectors (because right now I dont)?
I am a bit hesitant to just remove folders without actually knowing of the app needs them.
I appreciate any help!

@Laylalu The On-premises data gateway configuration app on the Connectos tab allows you to choose your Custom data connectors path.

Hi @Greg_Deckler ,
On-premises data gataway (personal mode)
I did find the folder. And I also navigate to the new folder and then apply. Close and log in again. When I log in again it has change back to the previously folder.
The folder I want to change to is "C:\Users\AmdiSilword\OneDrive - Amdi Silword\Dokumenter\Power BI Desktop\HelloWorld.mez
The Gateway will use this one C:\Users\AmdiSilword\Documents\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors
Power Bi Desktop
When I'am in Power BI I in Get Data/Other I can only see the connector HelloWorld.mez if it's located in folder:
"C:\Users\AmdiSilword\OneDrive - Amdi Silword\Dokumenter\Power BI Desktop\
So Gateway is locked to one folder and Power BI is locked to an other folder
I need so Gateway and Power BI desktop look in the same folder.
@Greg_Deckler I hope you can help me with this.
Attach the picture of my Gateway.
