Hello,
We use PowerBI (what I thought was PowerBI Embedded) in a Dynamics 365 for Operations environment. Today, the PowerBI workspace in all my environments fail with this message:
"Workspace Collection embedding is retired, please check Power BI Embedded in Azure to access the current embedding service."
All the information I've found on the web (and this forum) point to this page:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/power-bi-embedded/migrate-from-power-bi-workspace-collections
However, that link leads to a generic page about PowerBI embedded, with no information on it anywhere on migrating. I need detailed information on how to get past this and do whatever migration is necessary.
Thanks,
Rich Stephens
@Anonymous , are you able to find the resolution of this issue, i am also getting same error.
I'm sorry, but this answer doesn't help me. As you likely realize, each "flavor" of Dynamics 365 is very different, and has different ways of doing things. I am working with Dynamics 365 for Operations, and all those links refer to different "flavors" of D365 that are setup and work very differently.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Please review the following thread which has the same requirement as yours, hope it can help you.
From this document and Azure status, the Power BI Embedded service isn't available in AUSTRALIA EAST and AUSTRALIA SOUTHEAST. So you are not able to standard embedded Power BI analytics.
I am not in Australia, and the error message they said they are receiving in that thread is not the one I am receiving. That answer doesn't apply, thanks.
Hi @Anonymous ,
