How to put 2 columns side by side in a matrix vs drill down?

Hello everyone,
I want to create a pivot table in Power BI with the variables: Type, Country, Gender, Income of people. I want to have the Country and Gender variables in the same column matrix, side by side, with no hierarchy between the two. I need your help please. I'm using Power BI Desktop version 2.137.751.0 64-bit
Thanks in advance.

Hi  @tchoffo ,

As far as I know, placing two fields in a matrix column creates a hierarchical structure in the order in which they are placed, and this is the design of Power BI. You can consider customizing the matrix layout by following the link below, which requires creating a new table and changing the layout of the data, or by considering combining the two columns into a single column.
