How to make a slicers pane across multiple pages?

Hello,

I see a lot of tutorials how to make popup with slicers pane on one page.
It requires to add a lot of bookmarks...

But how to propage this filter pane across all pages?
Any ideas?

Best,
Jacek

Hi @jaryszek ,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Fabric Community.  you're definitely not the only one trying to make slicer popups work across multiple pages without duplicating a ton of bookmarks. Power BI doesn’t have a built-in way to create a  global slicer pane that pops up everywhere, but there are a few solid workarounds that can help:

You can use the Sync Slicers feature (under the View tab) to keep slicers in sync across different report pages. This means

  1. You can show slicers on some pages, hide them on others
  2. Filter selections will carry over, so users don’t have to reselect every time

Here’s the official doc : Enable the Sync Slicers feature in Power BI visuals - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If you’re using bookmarks to toggle slicer visibility (like a popup), you can copy the same layout and bookmark setup across pages. It’s a bit manual, but once you’ve got a clean slicer pane and  Show/Hide bookmarks, it’s easy to reuse.

Hope this helps. Let me know if need any additional information.

Regards,

Yugandhar.
