How to deal with multiple final users on multiple copies of one PBIX

Hi everyone, i'll have to deal with 15 or more customers using my PBI projects on multiples DB with the same structure (so customerName1/PowerBIData; customerName2/PowerBIData; etc.), i was thinking about 2 main routes but both have some pro and cons:

Using 1 file for ALL customers

+ Using query references you can switch Data Source easily, jumping from one customer to another in no time.

+ Once i'm editing the original file it will be easier the one they're using (*continues in the first cons).

- Having one file for multiple users means that everyone can access any data source just by switch the dataset reference, fixable by having a consultant using PBIs instead of letting the customers doing on their own.

- One file = one upload on the cloud service, which is not good since every customer will need have their PBI with their datas published.

Using 1 file for 1 customer

+ Every customer can upload their PBI to the cloud and ember it on their website if needed

+ Every customer can only access their own DB

-  Every time i'm going to update PBIs that are used by customers i'll have to update their too, which means duplicating the file and link it to the right DB every time for every customer.

What can i do to deal with those cons? What is the best solution? Thank you in advance!
