How to create Text Input

Hello,

I'm new to Power BI Desktop, I want to create simple dashboard that contains 3 text inputs.

One for start date, second for end date and the last one for Staff ID.

I want help on how to create text input using text box? 

also i have the date as one, how to filter by start and end date?

You cannot interact with dashboards in that way.  In reports you can use parameters, slicers or embedded PowerApps visuals to let the users select or enter filter criteria or comment text.
