Get Report App Section

I am using the REST API to get metadata about Reports in a Workspace. The reports are served to users via an App. In the App, reports are organized into Sections (I could not find reference to sections in documentation, but they are mentioned in this blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/de-ch/blog/designing-custom-navigation-for-power-bi-apps-is-now-availa...). Is there any way to identify the App Section a Report is associated with via the API? Failing that, is there any other way to export this information?

Hi @chris_decker,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

Currently, the Power BI REST API does not provide a method to retrieve the App Section associated with a report within a published app. The API can return metadata about reports, including their association with apps via the appId property, but it does not expose the specific navigation structure or section assignments within the app.
If you believe this feature would be valuable for your day-to-day work, I recommend submitting it to the Power BI Ideas forum: Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community. The product team actively monitors the Ideas forum, and suggestions that receive significant community support are potentially  included in future updates.

Not that I've ever seen using and browsing the APIs. Think that would the only place it would be surfaced
