Field format send in the Power BI connector

  1. question regarding the format that we send through the connector -
    One of the parameters that we send as part of the connector format is:  [{ key(string): value(string), key(string): value(string) }]

- Array (List) of Objects




The use case is the following: customers are adding custom fields to our platform besides the existing system fields.
And our customers are trying to access to the fields dynamically (meaning sometimes they would like to get the value of field A and sometime to field B)  

In this use case,  customers are experiencing difficulties to parse this data as part of the Power query

As you can see in the image attached:

I would like to ask you if it is possible to do something like List. Select(“custom field name”) in the Power Query or  if there is a different format that is better to send it in the Power BI connector to better parse this data easily in the Power BI  query.

I think this should not be suitable for the data connector operation logic, these table structures are extract from the data source tables which not real existed before getting data.
