Extracting dataset queries with powerBI REST

Hi,

I am working on a c# project which I want to contact the Power BI Rest v1.0 in order to extract the datasets my team has.

I am looking for a way to get all the datasets' queries.

I'd like to find a way, with a given datasetID, the get the queries it's holding through the API. I saw someone suggesting to use @https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/datasets/{datasetId}/executeQueries  and run

 select * from $SYSTEM.TMSCHEMA_PARTITIONS against the dataset but when I am trying this I get:

{
  "results": [
    {
      "error": {
        "code": "DataExtensionError",
        "message": "",
        "details": [
          {
            "code": "AnalysisServicesErrorCode",
            "detail": {
              "type": "1",
              "value": 0
            }
          }
        ]
      }
    }
  ]
}

I'd appriciate some help

Thanks

Hi @sonsi,

AS the official document and correspond limitations list mentions, current this API only support DAX expressions. The query that you used is T-SQL queries which not supported.
