I try to fetch data from a Table in an SQL Server where I have limmited read access for specific columns.
If I try to see the table I get the follwoing error
"DataSource.Error: Microsoft SQL: The SELECT permission was denied on the column 'XYZ' of the object 'tableName', database 'DBName', schema 'schemaName'."
Because I do not have access to read the column 'XYZ'. Is there anyway to exclude columns?
The equivalent SQL Query would be:
SELECT [ABC], [DEF] FROM [DBName].[schemaName].[tableName]
instead of the follwoing two queries that wold not work because I do not have read access for a specific column.
SELECT * FROM [DBName].[schemaName].[tableName]
SELECT [ABC], [DEF], [XYZ] FROM [DBName].[schemaName].[tableName]
